We live in a digital world. The generation of young people growing up today have never known a world without websites, social media, mobile phones and the rest. The Church and the Christian community have a 2,000 year old history of using the tools at their disposal to communicate the Gospel. In the past Christians have pioneered use of the codex (aka book) and printing press, today we need to reclaim that spirit and rise to the challenge of pioneering communication in the midst of a digital revolution.
Following on from the highly acclaimed 'Reaching Out in a Digital Age' events in 2012 we are pleased to introduce the 'Digital Kickstart Day' for 2013. This training day is suitable for anyone who wants to obtain a firm grounding in the principles of new media, key knowledge of how to effectively use social media, how to get the right website for you and practical ideas that you can use in your church or other Christian context.
